Its funny seeing the little lights of a disco ball hit every surface of a room- it has the power to change a basement into a concert arena. This past weekend we had our first “So Glamorous!” themed party. What fun! The little “pop stars” received celebrity treatment by getting manicures and makeup (which they did themselves- hilarious!). They even created their own group names (Singing Sisters & The Pop Star Girls) and placed them on their homemade backstage passes. Once completely glamorous, they headed to the stage to dance and sing (mostly lip-synch). I must admit that Disney teen music usually makes me cringe, but seeing the little Hannah Montanas’ enthusiasm made it quite enjoyable. Everyone’s favorite had to be the new lighting system. Just a disco ball with a spot light, but it might as well have been the set of High School Musical.
