Hi Jennifer -
Glad the words of encouragment helped & thanks for having a look at my blog. I'm going to begin putting links on my website to blogs that talk about how folks are doing with their resolutions. I find that it's very helpful to read what other people are doing - and it's great incentive to 'perform' when you know folks are watching.
If you don't mind - I'll add your site to the link list.
Good Luck with your space :)

Thanks Kim! I looked at your blog as well: very inspirational! I love the idea of spending a little time every day "cleaning up" my space. Its funny, because I do clean off my desk every day for a fresh start, I should just do the same for my workspace. Thanks again!

Hello - Ran across your post and wanted to leave you a few words of encouragement. Hang in there! From the looks of your post it sounds like you're half way there.

You have one specific resolution and a set of broad goals. I find that I have better success with my resolutions if I spend time on them every single day, 15, 20, 30 minutes at a time - 'and' I try to have a specific task or goal each day. One small step, one day at a time. Maybe it would help to start with one aspect (or pile of clutter) at a time, and create a system that works for you for each one.

From the sounds of it you get your creative space organized, then it gets messy again over time(?) Once you get it organized this time - try to set aside a few minutes each day putting things away. Some people clean off their desk at the end of the day because they like to start fresh. That might help you to stay organized. If you don't have time to do it every day, a hour or so a week might help.

I also like to buy a wall calendar and mark off every day that I achieve a task or goal - in your case why not see how many days you can string together for an organized (though it doesn't have to be perfect) space. Sounds silly but it doesn't take much time, and it helps.

In any event - I hope you succeed this time. I spend a lot of time thinking and writing about ways to make resolutions a reality. Drop by my blog sometime & Good Luck :)

Best,
Kim
